Buttery and flavorful, Stick of Butter Rice is an easy and delicious side dish that bakes to perfection in your oven!
Ingredients

cup
long grain white rice
,
not instant
2
packet onion soup mix
5
cups
low sodium broth
,
you can use chicken or beef or vegetable
1
cup
unsalted butter
Equipment
9x13 baking dish
(I like to use a ceramic baking dish)
Large bowl
(I like that this set includes several sizes)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F and spray a
9x13 baking dish
with cooking spray.
In a
large bowl
, add the rice, onion soup, and broth and stir until combined.
Pour into the prepared baking dish.
Slice the butter into smaller pieces and place on top of the rice (in even pattern).
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 20 minutes.
Remove and fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
