Layered Fresh Citrus Salad with Mint

An elegant fruit salad recipe with assorted citrus fruits, some mint, and Sweetened Dried Lemon Slices, layered on a giant platter.

  • 6-8 assorted citrus fruits ruby red grapefruit, cara cara oranges, blood oranges and tangerines, thinly sliced
  • 10-12 pieces Sweetened Dried Lemon Slices
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh mint leaves chopped or small pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar optional


  • Using a good serrated knife, thinly slice the fruit and arrange on a large platter.
  • Layer the different sizes, colors and flavors, starting with the largest slices on the bottom (the grapefruit).
  • Right before serving, sprinkle sugar over the fruit (optional).
  • Sprinkle with fresh, chopped mint leaves, and top with Sweetened Dried Lemon Slices.
