Organic Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

  • 1/4 c. lime juice
  • 1/2 c soy sauce or coconut aminos for SOY free gluten free soy sauce exists
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh minced ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 6 chicken breasts tenderized
  • 2 c. cooked brown rice
  • 1/4-1/2 c. chopped green onion
  • 2-3 cups of mixed veggies to steam


  • Combine lime, soy sauce, honey, 1 Tbsp. ginger, and 2 Tbsp. garlic in a large bowl and thoroughly mix. Add chicken breasts and allow to marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat a large sauce pan. When hot, add chicken, pouring the remaining marinade on top.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove from pan and chop into strips.
  • Using your instapot, steam broccoli for 2 minutes, using the quick release when time is up. Add and additional 1-2 minutes for carrots and Brussel's sprouts.
  • In large sauce pan, heat 2 Tbsp oil. Add 1 Tbsp. garlic and 1 Tbsp. ginger, stirring until golden. Add in rice and continue to cook for about 5-7 minutes. Add in the green onion and remove from heat.
  • Serve chicken, rice, and veggies together with desired sauce.
