Whisk together all ingredients, except for chicken. Place in a large container with a lid that will hold all of the chicken breasts.
Add the chicken; close securely and shake.
Marinate in fridge for up to 24 hours, shaking the container several times to move around the chicken evenly. Optional to put in a ziplock bag and freeze (remove all of the air out of the bag).
Prepare the grill; grill the chicken on each side until cooked. Remove from the grill.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving; garnish with fresh chives!
