Basic Green Salad

The easiest way to toast walnuts is to lay them on a paper towel and cook in the microwave for 1 minute. Toss; cook for another 30 seconds to a minute, until toasty-delicious! I also love to keep Briannas Home Style Dressing Dijon Honey Mustard stocked in the pantry for last-minute entertaining!

  • Leafy greens washed, spun dry, and torn into bite sizes
  • Tomatoes chopped in chunks
  • Cucumbers sliced
  • Red onion sliced
  • Toasted walnuts toasted
  • Olive oil salt and pepper OR Briannas Home Style Dressing Dijon Honey Mustard


  • Wash, spin, dry, and tear lettuce leaves into pieces and place in a large bowl.
  • Lay the chopped tomatoes, sliced onions and cucumbers, and toasted walnuts on top.
  • Toss the salad with either olive oil, salt, and pepper, OR your favorite salad dressing right before serving. Do not overdress the salad!
