If you’ve wondering how to make baked beans, then this Baked Beans with Ground Turkey recipe is for you. It's meaty, saucy, sweet, and tangy!
Ingredients

pound
ground turkey
1
medium onion
,
finely chopped
1
bell pepper
,
cored, seeded, and finely chopped
2
22 oz. cans
Grillin’ Beans
,
or baked beans
½
cup
barbecue sauce
½
cup
ketchup
2
Tbsp.
yellow mustard
2
Tbsp.
Worcestershire sauce
1
Tbsp.
soy sauce
4
Tbsp.
brown sugar
6-8
slices
bacon
,
cooked and crumbled (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350. Spray a 9×13 pan or casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large frying pan, brown the ground turkey, onion and pepper for about 5 minutes.
Add the cans of beans and all of the other ingredients (except bacon). Simmer for 5 minutes.
Transfer the prepared mixture to the 9×13 dish. Crumble the bacon on top and cover with foil.
Bake for 35 minutes; remove the foil and bake another 10 minutes. Serve & enjoy!
