Grab a pretty plate or platter –it doesn’t have to be huge, even a dinner plate works. Use the back of a spoon to press the unwrapped (room temp) Boursin cheese onto the plate, spreading evenly.
Next, drizzle (or squeeze) the hot honey over the cheese. Sprinkle the nuts on top and then the pomegranate seeds.
Notes
Sandy’s tips and substitutions:
Storage: I recommend you enjoy this boursin spread fresh. That said, any leftovers could go in the refrigerator for a day but the texture and appearance may not hold as well.
Bring to room temperature: The packaged and unwrapped boursin cheese needs to be brought to room temperature so that it is easy to spread. If not, add a tiny bit of liquid to stir and soften before spreading.
Make your own hot honey: If you don't have store-bought hot honey, it's easy to make! Gently warm 1/2 cup of regular honey in a microwave or saucepan and stir in 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes or a few slices of fresh chili. Let it steep for 15-20 minutes to infuse the heat. Cool it completely before use. Or, ou can use regular honey!
