Make a Caramel Dipped Apple Slices Wreath, an edible caramel apple board made with apples, dips, chocolate, and festive toppings for dipping!
Use about 1 apple per guest. This board serves 4.
Ingredients
4-6
apples
,
sliced
Lemon juice
,
to prevent apples from browning
Toppings:
Coconut, mini-M&M's, crushed Oreos, granola, mini chocolate chips
,
or favorite toppings
Dips:
Caramel dip, peanut butter, and Nutella (you can also use salted caramel sauce)
,
or favorite dips
Instructions
On a large charcuterie board, add the toppings in small bowls. Place on the board in a circular pattern to form a wreath.
Fill the peanut butter, caramel, and Nutella in 3 small bowls and place on the board (keep the circular pattern).
Use a sharp knife or apple slicer to cut the apples into slices. To prevent them from browning, squeeze fresh lemon juice on the apple slices; drain.
Place the apple slices on the board. Fill in any other spaces in the “wreath” with the various toppings, to form a circle on the board.
