Made in a 9x13 baking dish. Indulge in this easy Chocolate Dump Cake--a rich, gooey, chocolate cake, baked to perfection and served with a scoop of chocolate ice cream.
Ingredients
1
box
chocolate cake mix
1
small box
Instant Chocolate Pudding
1 ½
cups
whole milk
½
cup
unsalted butter, grated (use a cheese grater)
¾
cups
semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾
cup
milk chocolate chips
Instructions
Prepare and lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking pan.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Dump cake mix into the prepared baking dish.
Dump the dry pudding mix on top of the cake mix.
Evenly pour the milk over everything and mix with a fork to combine (doesn’t have to be perfect).
Sprinkle the 2 kinds of chocolate chips evenly over the cake batter.
Next, sprinkle the grated butter evenly on top of the chocolate chips. (TIP: use a cheese grater to grate COLD butter, not room temp butter).
Bake for 35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and enjoy every bite.
