Creamy, tangy Cottage Cheese Ranch Dip is rich in flavor, loaded with healthy protein, and assembled in just 5 minutes with a handful of pantry staples. Serve with your favorite dippers for your next party appetizer.
Ingredients
For the Dip:
16ozcottage cheese, I buy Good Culture 2% low-fat classic Cottage Cheese
Keep it chunky: Combine all of the ingredients right in the cottage cheese container and stir.
Taste for seasoning. Start with 1-2 Tbsp of Ranch seasoning, and add more if needed.
Sprinkle with fresh chives and garnish with dill sprig.
Make it creamy: Follow instructions above, but add the milk, Ranch seasoning, and lemon in a food processor and blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the cottage cheese is very smooth and creamy.
Serving:
Cut the purple cabbage in half and hollow it out. Slice the red cabbage in half across the middle, not lengthwise, so one half has the core at the bottom. This makes it easier to scoop out the center and create a sturdy bowl for serving.
Fill both halves with the dip. Place on a big board or tray as a dip with vegetables, crackers, or chips. Enjoy!
