Make in the epic 21-inch salad bowl. This Marry Me Caesar Wedge Salad is made with iceberg and romaine lettuce, chicken, bacon, sun-dried toamtoes, and a creamy dressing.
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Remove the core from the iceberg lettuce and cut each head into 8ths. Chop the romaine hearts into bite-size pieces.
In a large bowl, toss together romaine lettuce, and tear the iceberg pieces into large bite-size pieces. Mix together; add the bacon crumbles, chopped chicken, drained and chopped sun dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and green onions.
To make the dressing: Whisk together buttermilk, mayo, sour cream, ¼ cup of the blue cheese, ¼ cup of the parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of the basil in a bowl or large canning jar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Either whisk together until combined, or shake in a jar until mixed.
Pour dressing over salad, toss to combine, and top with remaining cheese combo (both blue cheese and Parmesan).
