  • 2 eggs
  • 2 lbs. ground turkey
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 large finely chopped sweet onion
  • Peanut butter
  • Fig jam
  • 10 strips bacon
  • Pretzel buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Other favorite toppings

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Combine egg, turkey, salt, pepper, and onion in large bowl and mix together. Make patties into flattened balls using about 1/4 c of meat.
  • Place patties on a greased, foil-lined pan. Place in oven for 25-30 minutes, keeping an eye on them to make sure they aren’t under or over done.
  • Cut pretzel buns in half. Spread a generous amount of peanut butter on the top bun, and a heaping spoonful of fig jam on the bottom.
  • In large pan, cook bacon to desired texture—soft or crispy.
  • When burgers are done, remove from oven, place on pretzel bun and layer bacon, lettuce, tomato, and any other toppings.
