Pear Gorgonzola Puff Pastry Pinwheels
Pinwheels can be prepped and refrigerated several days ahead (leave in a roll; wrap the roll in the wax paper and refrigerate). Slice, bake and serve on the same day.
Servings: 9 -12
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
- 1 SaladSavors package Gorgonzola, dried pear, toasted almonds
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 egg beaten
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Lay a piece of puff pastry on a floured work surface and roll slightly to remove the fold lines. Spread with honey.
Sprinkle the DeLallo mixture over the puff pastry sheet.
Roll tightly; brush the center fold of both puff pastry rolls with a beaten egg.
Carefully slice each roll into 1/2-inch slices and lay them flat on parchment paper-lined baking sheets.
Bake for 12-14 minutes, until golden; serve!
