This smoothie is perfect for coconut and chocolate lovers! It's savory, has a mousse-like texture, is rich in fats and omegas, lightly and naturally sweetened, and can be topped with granola, berries, or nuts to add more texture and flavor! I saved a couple inches of room on the top in order to have enough space for all of my extras!
Ingredients
2 1/2cupsfrozen coconut meat
1serving chocolate protein powder
4large ice cubes
1cupalmond milk, or milk alternative
1-2figs or pitted dates, for sweetener
2Tbspalmond butter
1tspcinnamon
Toppings
Toasted coconut flakes
Toasted almonds
Almond butter
Frozen or fresh berries
Pinchof salt, optional
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender and blend until smooth. Add additional milk , 1/4 cup at a time, if smoothie has trouble blending.
