Meg's winter green salad is bright, crunchy, and packed with chopped apples, cranberries, pecans, tomatoes, avocados, and plenty of veggies! Add your favorite dressing!
Ingredients

fresh greens

chopped

celery stalks

sliced

cup
Shredded carrots

pint
Cherry tomatoes

honey crisp apples
,
diced
½
dried cranberries

cucumber

diced
⅓
cup
sunflower seeds

avocados
½
Spicy pecans, chopped
,
optional
1
cup
Poppyseed dressing
,
or a light vinaigrette or a balsamic dressing, or your favorite dressing
Instructions
In a large bowl add the lettuce.
Layer the rest of the ingredients, ending with avocado, pecans (optional), and serving salad dressing on the side.
Optional to toss the dressing into the salad before serving.
