Peach Dumplings are a quick and comforting dessert made with fresh peaches wrapped in crescent rolls and baked in a buttery, spiced sauce. Assemble, bake, and serve warm with ice cream for a simple summer treat!

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish and set it aside.
Peel the peaches and slice each one into about 8 wedges.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Place a peach slice at the wide end of each triangle.
Roll the dough around the peach, starting from the wide end and working toward the tip.
Place the wrapped dumplings seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Mix just until combined - don’t worry if it looks slightly grainy.
Pour the sugar butter sauce evenly over the wrapped peaches in the baking dish.
Carefully pour about 9 ounces of lemon-lime soda (just over ¾ of the can) around the edges of the pan. Avoid pouring it directly over the dumplings.
Bake the assembled dumplings in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and fully cooked through.
Allow the dumplings to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Serve your peach dumplings warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
