This night, when my son was home from college, we had a full-course meal. But one thing I didn’t think about as we were sitting around, chatting about Martin Luther King after our meal, was something very important to teenagers.

DESSERT.

With 3 teens in the house, how in the world could I forget dessert?

That said, and with a bunch of Dole bananas in my kitchen, I remembered this tasty, easy, fast banana dessert that only takes 10 minutes to bake!

Of course I tripled the recipe …

Dole Baked Bananas with Heath English Toffee Bits
2 servings

1 ripe DOLE Banana, peeled and sliced lengthwise
Lemon juice
2 tsp. honey
Ground cinnamon
2 TBSP. Heath English Toffee Bits

Line cookie sheet with foil. Preheat oven to 350.

Lightly brush banana halves with lemon juice. Place cut-sides up on the foil.

Spoon honey over banana halves and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.

Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven.

Sprinkle with Heath English Toffee Bits

Serve warm! Yummy. You will have happy kids.
