Tips & substitutions

  • I buy the mini croissants at Trader Joe’s in the freezer section.
  • If you can’t find the mini croissants, you can use regular size croissants (but only use 8 large ones instead of 16 mini ones).
  • Use your favorite cheese if you aren’t a fan of Swiss.
  • Grill sweet onions for a nice caramelized touch!
  • Add garden heirloom tomato slices in the summertime.
  • Optional to not add the pesto, but I find it adds a nice pizazz!
  • Easy to reheat in the air fryer.
