Harry & David’s Father’s Day Gift Tower Giveaway
When I was a teenager my mom would call me down to the kitchen every evening before dinner was ready and I never had to ask what she wanted; I just got straight to work, setting the table for me, my mom, dad and two sisters. And it was always the same: Avocado green melmac plates, green glasses for milk or water, a paper napkin on the left side with the for, and a knife and spoon on the right. For some reason, it never seemed boring to me, it was just routine. And then when it was time for dishes, I always went to the piano. I would much rather practice my piano after dinner than do the dishes! My sisters and I always changed up the chores, but mealtime together as a family happened every night – together as a family.
I’m grateful for a Dad who provided for our family by working very hard building houses (eventually doing our kitchen remodel), and teaching us girls how to prioritize family meal time! (Me and my sisters, Dad and his wife, Ginny.)
Since Father’s Day is just around the corner, it’s fun shopping for my Dad. Putting his hobbies aside, I’m going to focus today on snacks! My Dad loves snacks, so today’s giveaway is perfect for you to WIN if your Dad loves healthy snacks.
When Harry & David asked if I wanted to send one of their popular Father’s Day themed gifts to my Dad, I knew he would love it. How could he not? Look at just a few of the options and ideas they offer:
(I reviewed the Flat Top Snack Gift Tower!)

(Disclosure: Harry & David provided me with same gift to send to my Dad. My thoughts and opinions are my own.)
My Dad always asks for brownies, my father-in-law likes a good book, and my husband is hoping for a Barnes and Noble card. This Harry and David tower looks amazing!
Most likely a card and some dark chocolate!
We’re getting my husband a tote to keep all of his grilling tools organized.

To be honest, I’m not sure what I’m getting my Dad yet!
We are looking forward to celebrating my husbands first fathers day!
My husband and I will be giving my father-in-law some homemade chutney and a book for Father’s Day!

I gave my dad his Father’s Day present a little early this year… a small point and shoot camera. He’s been getting good use out of it. :)
A gift card to the best local ice cream place in St. Louis.
I’ll give a phone call to Dad as he lives miles away, also.. and the same for hubby from the kids. It’s hard being miles away from the ones you love. At least we have phones :)
Dad lives across the country – he gets a phone call that he doesn’t have to share with mom!
I don’t believe this! I usually only make these kind of mistakes late at night when I’m tired. After initially forgetting to include the link for my FB share, I requested a comment deletion. Then, I included the wrong link! I apologize for the inconvenience. I DID share your fabulous giveaway on Facebook. I am so sorry (and very embarrassed!)
Who knows? I think I have a little more time to shop, right? :)
I plan on giving my father some food items he enjoys, like cheese and pretzels!

It’s been a tradition since I was little to make a homemade card for my Dad each year on Father’s Day and his birthday too! Even though I am 33 now, I still get out my markers, scissors and construction paper and make him something different every time, and he LOVES it. But I know he would love a gift tower too! Cheese, crackers, nuts…. Right up his alley!
My dad will be with me for fathers day after 7 years so I am planning to make it special for him..:)
A chain for his bike.
Oh Thanks for opportunity to win! I am giving my husband an outing for 4 to his favorite shooting range.
I am giving my Dad a powerball lottery tickets that lasts over several draws. He likes the anticipation of “maybe” winning the big one!
I will probably make a special dessert for my husband. The kids are in charge of the service at Church on Father’s Day and I think my husband will enjoy that.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Ooh, yikes. Father’s Day is less than 2 weeks away! I usually give my father books or cds, although this year I think I’ll give him something related to gardening, as he’s really grown into something of a green thumb over the last year or two. Love that he’s 65 and getting new hobbies. :)
