Thanksgiving Day: Eating Together

“The simple little act of eating dinner together makes children feel valued, loved and secure. It bolsters their sense of self. It’s where they absorb values and information effortlessly, unaware, in the air they breathe. It’s where they learn how to communicate effectively. In short, it’s how kids become smart.” – Estroff Marano, A Nation of Wimps

Happy Thanksgiving, Friends. I love this quote, and picture from a few years back around our Thanksgiving table, when our kids were younger. We were all much younger! :) I’m thankful today for so many blessings in life–a very good life–for our faith, family and friends, and the bounty that we’ve been given. I appreciate the security that is felt around our table, but most importantly, that there is always plenty of love.

Have a beautiful Thanksgiving Day!
