Setting the Table with Tree Sliced Coasters and Place Cards
To me, Thanksgiving is about celebrating life with family and friends.
Thanksgiving is an excuse to party – because it revolves around getting together, setting the table, gathering with food, loving on family and friends, enjoying good smells, feeling warm embraces.
Thanksgiving dinner is a real reason to love one another.
A wonderful tabletop–or tablescape–by bringing the outdoors in, wherever you l may live.
Our story goes like this: We recently cut down a few trees in our backyard.
I love the touch that my husband brought to our table.
Little rounds of branches as coasters and place cards – slices of wood.
Pumpkins, candles, wheat and wood, and the last of living flowers from the front yard
Bringing trees to the table is lovely, but celebrating the people around the table is much more important.
We don’t worry much about our Thanksgiving table being picture perfect.
But we add a little touch of love and “who we are,” a great way to draw people in around your table this year.
People over perfect.
Love over image
Good food over gourmet.
This is what I love about Thanksgiving.
How is your table coming together for TG Day?

I love the coasters! We actually have a tree branch we’re going to be doing the same thing with soon! So cute and rustic :)
Love how you used the trees you cut down! People, love, good food…3 or my favorites!
