Cozy RugStudio Rugs for the Home
These RugStudio rugs are cozy for the home, perfect for wood floors, and creating warm, inviting spaces a great room, dining room, office, or bedroom.
Friends, our little mountain home is coming right along, with much progress each week. This week we’re putting up the backsplash in the kitchen. Next up, lighting and a few more paint projects. If you’re not caught up on the HGTV by Sherwin Williams paint (so much wood!), and the fireplace, then check it out. We did paint the kitchen cabinets white, and we’re a few projects away from the final “reveal.”

In the meantime, I’ve partnered with RugStudio, with whom I’ve had the best online experience, in ordering rugs!
Talk about amazing customer service and so very prompt in getting the product to me.
We ordered 2 rugs for our great room, one for the living space, and one for the dining table area.
I love this quote about our homes (you can print it out, here), never perfect, but always perfect–for what our hearts long for.
“That house was…’a perfect house, whether you like food or sleep, or story-telling or singing, or just sitting and thinking best, or a pleasant mixture of them all’. Merely to be there was a cure for weariness, fear, and sadness.” — J.R.R. Tolkien
Safevieh Paris Shag
Of course, the minute we got our new, sable Safavieh Paris Shag rug in place, Haggis blended right in.
And felt right at home, on the irrestibly soft pile.
Which meant, it was a match that was meant to be!
He now loves this shag rug, partly because it’s so soft, and we do too!
Loll Torrance
And then the new rug for under our dining table, the Loll Torrance, has silver and a tiny bit of gold, so cushy-soft and elegant, and ties in so nicely with the kitchen colors.
Not only prompt with the order, RugStudio also provided Surya Rug Pad Lock Grips for under the rugs.
No sliding around on our wood floors!
Easy DIY project
We’ve yet to have a real dinner party in our home. We’ve had a few friends stop in, and have put together a few dinners, but not a true sit-down dinner where my husband and I love to serve our guests.
It’s all coming together though, and we can’t wait.
We’re so anxious to host in our new space. One of our dreams of moving to this new house was to make it comfortable for others to join us in the adventure of central Oregon, if only for a couple of days.
We’re branching out and meeting new people, and we’ve had a ton of visitors.
Moving has been a great experience, an adventure, and the home has taken a lot of our time, since we are doing all the DIY projects ourselves.
Our Rug Studio rugs have been one of the easy “projects,” creating the perfect ambience, and will give our guests a sense of warmth and “home” as soon as they walk in the door!
Stay tuned for the backsplash, the final kitchen reveal with KitchenAid appliances, and more!
This post is sponsored by RugStudio.com, who reached out to me to provide 2 rugs for our new house. As always, all opinions are my own!
Oh my god! What a cute little dog. Rug’s not too bad either :)
It’s looking so good, Sandy!!
