Fourth of July Easy Chili Dog Recipe
This Easy Chili Dog Recipe is perfect for Fourth of July entertaining, or any holiday or summer party!
Friends, it’s hot in Oregon! We’re up to 108 degrees today … and I’m thankful that we have a pool.
I’ve been in our pool more this year than in the last 10 years combined, living in this house. I’m not sure why, but I’ve really been enjoying taking a dip, and swimming in the evenings.
Life is short (and hot), so I’m working hard to stay cool.
Are you ready for the weekend ahead? Are you entertaining for the Fourth of July?

Our daughter just left for Hawaii with a friend for 16 days, but before she left I asked her to make me a good “chili dog recipe.” We’ve enjoyed cooking together this summer, just in time for her to be leaving me in the fall (sniff-sniff) for college. I will truly miss her!

we are heading to my inlaws for a bbq. I’m bringing a Bbq beans and sausage dish.
I’ll have to look for the Bush’s Fiesta beans….have not tried them yet. The Bush’s homeplace and factory at Chestnut Hill, Tennessee is only an hour away from our home in Knoxville so we have visited the grounds where the old homeplace still stands and they have a gift shop and café. They offer a tour of the factory, too. Our Fourth will be quiet and probably rainy! Enjoy your sunshine!
I was just there at Chestnut Hill in May, Shanna. It was a blast! Loved that cute gift shop, too!
