Happy Halloween Snack Board
Who doesn’t love dipping fruit and veggies and chocolate in peanut butter? Grab all the BIG BOARD info at the bottom of this post for the perfect food-safe boards (where the food stays on the board). How many times have we been to parties where boards are served, and the food is all over the counter? A royal mess.
Rummage through your cupboards for chocolate and peanut butter, and grab a few other foods, like “make your own mini pumpkins” out of tangerine oranges and little celery stems! How cute!
Also, if you have the time, serve a plate of these Mini Mummie Dogs.

Last minute Halloween snacks
Last minute people stopping by for Halloween?
You know the kind of afternoon where you’re buzzing around in the kitchen, with several recipes going at once, and then you find out a few friends are stopping by?
Yes, this just happened to me! This kind of entertaining is fun, if you’re prepared.
No hard rules
Boards are easy, because there are no “hard rules.”
Like, it’s okay to substitute an ingredient for something else, if you don’t have it in your pantry.
Everyone has peanut butter, and yes, I even keep chocolate stashed in different places!
So my house is the way it is (messy), but we know our friends love us for who we are.
How to make Cutie pumpkins
I love these Cutie pumpkins!
- Peel Cutie oranges.
- Cut tiny pieces of celery to make a small stem.
- Place the small stem in the center of the pumpkin to make a Cutie pumpkin!
So here’s a HAPPY Halloween board to make for your people! Oh, and want a fun dessert? Try this Spooky Oreo Halloween Cake!

What would you recommend to use for this board if I sub Nutella for the pb?
I have a few other boards on my blog with Nutella!
Just fabulous – the cuties as pumpkins…too fun!!!
I meant to ask did you add something to the peanut butter? It looks like it’s been thinned a bit in the photos.
No, we didn’t thin the peanut butter. We used a more natural pb, rather than a thick Jiffy. :)
Please share the source for the wood tongs in your photos; I’ve looked everywhere!
They are sold out for now, but keep checking back in the store for when they are restocked!
