KitchenAid GIVEAWAY via USA Today Your Life Magazine
There’s a new publication that hit the stands today by USA Today, designed specifically for women.
It’s called Your Life: Guide to Women’s Health.
Christine Neff, from USA Today, wrote an excellent article in this fabulous magazine called, “Holiday Entertaining Made Easy!”
I’m honored that she included RE as part of the interview on each beautiful page of this feature.
Take a peek at these fabulous pages!
There are fantastic recipes, tips on bringing the outdoors in, simplifying during the holidays, staying sane and “putting perfections aside,” and most importantly, realizing the benefits of entertaining.
There are so many benefits to entertaining, the most obvious in my opinion being forging beautiful relationships!
Your Life is also full of good eats, tips, advice, and plenty of reminders that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Which brings us to our GIVEAWAY here today!
Do you own a stand mixer by KitchenAid? I think I’ve owned a couple in my 30 years of entertaining. I just wear them out, they’re used so much for baking, cooking, and canning. I tend to think of my KA as a friend, who I rely heavily upon. :)
Today in celebration of RE featured in USA Today, KitchenAid is giving away a 7-quart Stand Mixer. This product is brand new, so the winner will be one of the first to own it.
Here are the details (winner gets to choose between silver, black, or red):

Cooking for the Cure, presented by KitchenAid, reminds us that cooking with a purpose (and supporting the Cure) helps to bring an end to breast cancer in our lifetime.
Oh, how do I believe in this. My mom had breast cancer, and then ovarian cancer took her life. So cancer is fresh in our family and a reminder that we need to do all we can to help.

I usually make the main dish and a couple of appetizers then have family bring desserts!
Potluck, definitely! Many family members have a “signature dish” that they each donate to the meal. There is always more food than you can fit on your plate in one trip.
I love to cook so I usually like to make it all myself, but I don’t want to be selfish, so if someone else really wants to bring something, I will let them. There are a few dishes during the holidays that my husband only wants me to make, I feel so special, he loves my cooking. :) Thanks for your blog and the giveaway. You are fabulous!
I just blogged about this great giveaway!

I love potluck-style entertaining. . . but for the holidays, I usually pull out all the stops and keep all the food preparation in the family. My kids and I love making candy together, and my husband is great at concocting cool main dishes. Of course, there’s always a big mess to clean up, but that’s okay.
I don’t think I’d want to try to accomplish anything in this kitchen without a KitchenAid. I’m more than a fan–I’m a fanatic. Except for a couple of little countertop things, all my kitchen appliances are KitchenAid. My stand mixer, though, is my very favorite! :)

I supply the main meal and guests bring appetizers and dessert :-)
I usually do it all myself. It depends on the gathering though. I could put this mixer to good use let me tell ya!
I love a potluck…it’s so much more fun to taste a variety! Plus, I’m not stuck in the kitchen all day. :)
When I host a party I usually do everything myself so my guest can just relax.
it depends on the event, sometimes it is potluck, but for dinner parties I cook or bake 90% of the items and if they feel they need to bring something I will let them help too if they are insistant
I usually do the main dishes and ask everyone to bring sides/drinks/etc.
pot luck for me… cause people tend to bring awesome things to share. After I have my house ready, I try to work to welcome not crazy for clean but still that seems to take more time than i want and I would rather not be totally exhausted when people arrive. I’m not out to impress any one just want to eat delicious food and gather together. thanks for a chance to win!
Ive done it both ways! I love holiday entertaining!
