KitchenAid GIVEAWAY via USA Today Your Life Magazine
There’s a new publication that hit the stands today by USA Today, designed specifically for women.
It’s called Your Life: Guide to Women’s Health.
Christine Neff, from USA Today, wrote an excellent article in this fabulous magazine called, “Holiday Entertaining Made Easy!”
I’m honored that she included RE as part of the interview on each beautiful page of this feature.
Take a peek at these fabulous pages!
There are fantastic recipes, tips on bringing the outdoors in, simplifying during the holidays, staying sane and “putting perfections aside,” and most importantly, realizing the benefits of entertaining.
There are so many benefits to entertaining, the most obvious in my opinion being forging beautiful relationships!
Your Life is also full of good eats, tips, advice, and plenty of reminders that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Which brings us to our GIVEAWAY here today!
Do you own a stand mixer by KitchenAid? I think I’ve owned a couple in my 30 years of entertaining. I just wear them out, they’re used so much for baking, cooking, and canning. I tend to think of my KA as a friend, who I rely heavily upon. :)
Today in celebration of RE featured in USA Today, KitchenAid is giving away a 7-quart Stand Mixer. This product is brand new, so the winner will be one of the first to own it.
Here are the details (winner gets to choose between silver, black, or red):

Cooking for the Cure, presented by KitchenAid, reminds us that cooking with a purpose (and supporting the Cure) helps to bring an end to breast cancer in our lifetime.
Oh, how do I believe in this. My mom had breast cancer, and then ovarian cancer took her life. So cancer is fresh in our family and a reminder that we need to do all we can to help.

I love my KA!
I usually make everything then have people bring chips and crackers. I usually have enough left over to feed an army!
I reposted this link and shared with all my friends on FB!
I love to cook for lots of people but my friends all like to contribute as well. So usually we do both! I provide a lot of food myself and my friends bring their favorites as well!
I liked USA Today Your Life on FB!
I liked Kitchen Aid on FB!
I liked the RE!
Potluck!
I usually will make the main course and ask others to bring a side dish or a dessert. So much easier that way, and I love to try what my friends and family cook!

Also liked the Kitchen-Aid page on facebook!
I make enough food for twice the number of guests & they bring more! Who doesn’t like a variety?
I shared my excitement on Twitter! :)
I posted this link on my facebook and blog pages. I also “liked” the Kitchen Aid facebook page.
I make the main stuff – guests bring things like cookies/desserts, wine/beverage, or their “specialty, if they love to cook.
I used to think I had to do it all myself so I could somehow show everyone how much I cared about them. But life’s obligations changed and so did I and I find that those very people I wanted to care for also love being a part of that cycle and enjoy bringing one of their favorites too. Who knew? Wish I had years sooner, I would have given myself a better opportunity to enjoy one of those parties. All I wanted to do was take a nap!
Just tweeted your tweet (@HrtOfHspitality)!! :)
I shared your link to the give-away on my personal fb page! :) woohoo!!!
When I have company over at my house, I try to prepare most foods by myself. But some guests, like relatives, they would always want to bring something. That’s ok too!
I *shared* this link on my home business facebook page:”{Heart of Hospitality} Willow House with Cathy” THANKS Sandy!! :)

I make the majority of the food myself but assign things to bring to those who ask.
I blogged about the giveaway!
My old kitchen aid is a workhorse. It still does all the kneading for the bread I make.
