KitchenAid GIVEAWAY via USA Today Your Life Magazine
There’s a new publication that hit the stands today by USA Today, designed specifically for women.
It’s called Your Life: Guide to Women’s Health.
Christine Neff, from USA Today, wrote an excellent article in this fabulous magazine called, “Holiday Entertaining Made Easy!”
I’m honored that she included RE as part of the interview on each beautiful page of this feature.
Take a peek at these fabulous pages!
There are fantastic recipes, tips on bringing the outdoors in, simplifying during the holidays, staying sane and “putting perfections aside,” and most importantly, realizing the benefits of entertaining.
There are so many benefits to entertaining, the most obvious in my opinion being forging beautiful relationships!
Your Life is also full of good eats, tips, advice, and plenty of reminders that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Which brings us to our GIVEAWAY here today!
Do you own a stand mixer by KitchenAid? I think I’ve owned a couple in my 30 years of entertaining. I just wear them out, they’re used so much for baking, cooking, and canning. I tend to think of my KA as a friend, who I rely heavily upon. :)
Today in celebration of RE featured in USA Today, KitchenAid is giving away a 7-quart Stand Mixer. This product is brand new, so the winner will be one of the first to own it.
Here are the details (winner gets to choose between silver, black, or red):

Cooking for the Cure, presented by KitchenAid, reminds us that cooking with a purpose (and supporting the Cure) helps to bring an end to breast cancer in our lifetime.
Oh, how do I believe in this. My mom had breast cancer, and then ovarian cancer took her life. So cancer is fresh in our family and a reminder that we need to do all we can to help.

I plan on making it all. But if anyone offers I always let them bring something. Usually a dessert and or drinks. I love making homemade bread which ends up taking a bit of extra time. But totally worth it!
I love making food for parties, but I know my guests do too, so it’s usually a little of both!
When I’m hosting I tend to make all the food and people BYOB (to share)!
If it is a small party, I do the cooking but if it is larger group, I do potluck. I like to cook all the food but I have notice how much more expensive it has become.
I make everything myself, but inevitably guests bring drinks and nibbles to share, which is always fun. Thanks, Sandy!
I have great friends, so when invited over they always ask if they can bring something. My reply is always, “I’ll have everything, but you’re more than welcome to bring an appetizer or anything you want!” This way, I know for sure that there will be enough, but you can never have too much! :)
I always try to make everything myself. It’s a bad habit, I know!! I’m getting better though…if someone offers to bring something, I let them. I used to say “oh, no…don’t worry…we have it all covered”…when we never had it all covered!
I usually do too much! We’re still figuring out how to do our family holidays–all the family or just our family–but, regardless of how it all works out I do love hosting and helping to host.

i like to do everything myself, but if its a big crowd, potluck is the way to go

I always make everything! It is my way if showing how much I love my friends & family by giving them the night off. It is such a busy time of year and I think it is so nice if you can afford to do it during the holidays. This is my favorite time of year!
I have an annual party and yes, I make all the food myself!
I am a new (step) mom to three little children, who all love to eat. Within a day, I have learned to create meals and desserts to feed them, me and my husband, plus their grandparents. Last week we had a birthday party for their grandfather, I made 4 different finger food “bites”, 3 main “courses”, 3 veggie dishes and 4 different desserts, (buffet style). Boy, I was tired, but it was worth it. When everyone’s bellies are happy, I am happy. :)
I tend to get overly ambitious and make most things myself. For the things I don’t make, I consider Costco to be my best friend! Thanks for the chance to win!
