KitchenAid GIVEAWAY via USA Today Your Life Magazine
There’s a new publication that hit the stands today by USA Today, designed specifically for women.
It’s called Your Life: Guide to Women’s Health.
Christine Neff, from USA Today, wrote an excellent article in this fabulous magazine called, “Holiday Entertaining Made Easy!”
I’m honored that she included RE as part of the interview on each beautiful page of this feature.
Take a peek at these fabulous pages!
There are fantastic recipes, tips on bringing the outdoors in, simplifying during the holidays, staying sane and “putting perfections aside,” and most importantly, realizing the benefits of entertaining.
There are so many benefits to entertaining, the most obvious in my opinion being forging beautiful relationships!
Your Life is also full of good eats, tips, advice, and plenty of reminders that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Which brings us to our GIVEAWAY here today!
Do you own a stand mixer by KitchenAid? I think I’ve owned a couple in my 30 years of entertaining. I just wear them out, they’re used so much for baking, cooking, and canning. I tend to think of my KA as a friend, who I rely heavily upon. :)
Today in celebration of RE featured in USA Today, KitchenAid is giving away a 7-quart Stand Mixer. This product is brand new, so the winner will be one of the first to own it.
Here are the details (winner gets to choose between silver, black, or red):

Cooking for the Cure, presented by KitchenAid, reminds us that cooking with a purpose (and supporting the Cure) helps to bring an end to breast cancer in our lifetime.
Oh, how do I believe in this. My mom had breast cancer, and then ovarian cancer took her life. So cancer is fresh in our family and a reminder that we need to do all we can to help.

I would LOVE to have this mixer!! Thanks for such a great giveaway! I usually make everything when I entertain, I also make a lot of cookies to send overseas so this would make that job so much easier too!
I usually make it all myself and just have people bring something if they offer.
I am a RE FB fan.
Congratulations Sandy!!! We usually celebrate the holidays and parties with extended family and it has grown quite large, therefore we all share in bringing food items. We are beginning a MOMS ministry at our church and meet once a month. I have agreed to hosting the meetings at my home and we ask for the ladies to sign up to bring food. It is so much more fun as they love to share their favorite recipes and we have some amazing cooks in the group of ladies.
I do both. It seems holiday and family gatherings keep me in the kitchen. I am the designated baker and truly enjoy it. This would truly be a great addition to my kitchen, especially making pie crusts. My old stand mixer died in 2008 after 31 years. Help!!

I always do everything. Once I create a vision for my party or dinner, I never want to give up any element to anyone else!
I usually make everything my self.
I “liked” the RE page and KitchenAid page on FB. Thanks!
I like to make everything myself when entertaining for the holidays, including a rum punch, and am always grateful when guests bring wine or beer. I just got married on Sept. 10 and would love to have a KitchenAid Mixer to start our new lives!
I “like”d Kitchenaid on FB! :)
When I’m entertaining at the holidays, that usually means I have out-of-town guests. So I do everything! And I love it! But I recognize that it is a gift when someone offers to help or make a dish of their own, so I’ve learned to recognize it as such.
Congrats on being in the article!

I posted this link on my fb and twitter pages. On Twitter I am benzgal81 and on fb I am Naomi Thomas-Baker…
I usually ask people to bring something specific (like desserts) and make everything else! Then I have something new to try also!
I usually do it all if I entertain just 2-3 couples. Love cooking/entertaining! If I have more than 2 or 3 couples I do the main course and then have the others bring sides or a dessert.
When we do a holiday party we usually do a potluck style dinner. My family loves to be involved.
I liked the USA Today for life page on FB, too!
I liked you on facebook.
I liked the Kitchen Aid FB page! I inherited my mixer from my great grandma from the 50s! It’s still working, but losing its edge quickly now!
We tend to make the appetizers and most of the meal with people bringing dessert. Dessert isn’t really my favourite thing to make and our family members seem to love making dessert so it works out nicely.
