French Toast Bar with Easy French Toast with Almonds Recipe
Friends, today I’m partnering with Blue Diamond Almonds, with a very fun post + your chance to win a $100 VISA card for taking a very short survey! CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED! THANK YOU!
Good luck, and read on for my delicious French Toast with Almonds recipe!
Weekends in our home seem to be full of pancakes, waffles, and French Toast. No matter who’s home, or what friends the kids have over, or what out-of-town company, it’s great to set out the food in a buffet-style, enjoy the people, slow down a bit, and really enjoy our home on the weekend. And, best of all, you show a little love to your family and friends. :)
Serving breakfast is easy.
That said, it can be stressful trying to get the food ready for a large group, especially if you want to feed everyone at once. A few weekends ago, after picking up some day-old apple and cinnamon bread, I set up a simple French Toast Bar with Almonds for everyone to dig in!
Easy French Toast with Almonds.
Breakfast is so easy. Especially with delicious Easy French Toast with Almonds with warm maple syrup, and favorite flavored almonds sprinkled on top. A beautiful mix of carbs and protein!
To experienced brunch-throwers, I’m probably not telling you anything you don’t know. Breakfast is inexpensive (when you don’t serve meat), fun to serve, loved by all ages, you can serve it any time in the morning, it feeds a crowd, and the bottom line: Everyone LOVES French Toast!
How to set up a French Toast Bar.
French Toast. Let’s start with the main dish. French Toast is a simple dish to serve, because you can cook several pans at a time on the stove. Stack the French Toast, and keep it in the oven, or quickly microwave the stacks right before serving. I used day-old cinnamon and blueberry breads!
Almonds. We love the variety of flavors that go so well with a breakfast. We served Blue Diamond’s Oven Roasted Chocolate, Oven Roasted Blueberry, Honey Roasted Vanilla, Roasted Sea Salt, and Toasted Coconut in a pretty setting, with small dishes, on a Lazy Susan. I spelled out each flavor with a chalkboard pen so our guests could try them all – and be amazed! Eventually, you want to eat them all, but you know that you need to save some for others too.
Fresh Fruit. We stack fresh fruit on a platter and let the guests dive in. Sometimes it’s more fun to stack the melon and pour the berries on top, and not take the time to cut up small pieces.
Warm Maple Syrup. We always buy organic and natural maple syrup, and warm it up right before serving. There’s nothing quite like hot maple syrup on a piece of French Toast, to melt the small slab of butter.
We love a homemade a French Toast Bar with Almonds. Everyone loves this spread! And quite honestly, the flavored nuts are always the hit of the meal, as they get discussed … and eventually all eaten.
Set out the dishes, napkins, forks, butter, jelly or jam.
Last but not least, I am doing my first reader survey on RE! I would absolutely love it if you would take a few minutes to answer the questions in the survey. Your responses will help RE improve in the future. Thank you so much!

I took the survey.
I love french toast with maple syrup and I think that some slivered toasted almonds will be a perfect addition. I know they are great with Greek Honey Yogurt!
I cannot resist french toast, yours looks amazing and then you went and added those almonds? The perfect breakfast buffet!
I took the survey and I like coffee cake with almonds.
I took the survey, and I enjoy eating a handful of raw whole almonds every morning. Roasted almonds go great with pre-dinner drinks. And I use a lot of sliced almonds in my baking ( including cherry-almond quick bread) and slivered almonds in my cooking.
I took the survey. I love almonds in my smoothies, so nutty & good!
I took the survey and I’d have to say my favorite breakfast with almonds is simply steel cut oatmeal with cinnamon and sugar almonds. I usually use roasted and salted but once I tried the cinnamon and sugar ones, I was hooked! I may try the oven roasted blueberry ones next.. yum!!
