NW Raw Juice Bar, Ashland, Oregon
If you’re hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, or want to do a juice cleanse, then NW Raw Juice Bar, Ashland, Oregon, is the place for you!
Friends, I love this quote: “Someday is not a day of the week.”
When it comes to a healthy lifestyle, I feel so lucky to live in southern Oregon, home of the one-and-only pure, organic, cold-pressed juice bar, Northwest RAW in Ashland, Oregon.
Let me share with you more about this rejuvenating place, because TODAY is the day to get started with healthy eating and living!
For me, I took the new year as a great time to start making some healthy changes, which I plan to blog about in depth later this week.
NW Raw Juice Bar, Ashland, OR.
For now, located at the south end of downtown Ashland, there’s no design quite like the Pacific Northwest decor as you enter Raw, with tree trunks hanging from the ceiling, and a cozy warm fireplace.
Come on in and visit the Raw family! I promise, they will take amazing care of you and will answer all of your questions. You’ll feel right at home …
In warmer weather, the front doors swing wide open to the great outdoors!
I think so many people dream about being healthy, and they have the “some day” approach. But it’s easy to start now if you’re on a mission to restore your health, vitality and natural beauty.
Pacific Crest Trail.
Also, did you know that Ashland is about an hour drive from the Cascade-Siskiyou Monument Pacific Crest Trail (PCT)? There are lots of hikers that come in to Ashland, who I’ve heard head straight to Raw. What a treat after a long day’s hike!
In fact, Katie recently stopped by, on her way to Canada on the PCT, and then stopped back through on her way back down south. What did she eat? A nourishing salad and cold pressed juice!
Getting back on track.
For me, “getting back on track” always starts with juicing, which I say is magic for your immune system. It’s a great way to get the cravings of carbs and sugars out of your system, which then leads to making healthier food choices, such as Raw’s salads and lovely meals.
For my husband and I, we recently brought Raw’s juice with us to the top of Smith Rock over in Bend, Oregon. I’m telling you, it’s the perfect hiking “magic” if you want energy and to feel good!
What is raw juice?
What is raw juice? It’s healthy, wholesome, pure, natural, organic, locally grown raw fruits and vegetables in a delicious blended form. Raw juice rejuvenates your body, cleanses your system, and brightens your soul and cells. Raw juice is a great help in reducing our dependence on medications and supplements, and gets us back to the garden, where food begins.
For me, I’ve truly benefited from a juice cleanse several times a year. It blesses the entire body, mind and soul. After juicing, continue on with a healthy lifestyle of exercise and eating “real food!”
Benefits of juicing
- Better mood
- Increased energy
- Greater mental clarity
- Weight loss
- Better sleep
- Satisfies the sweet tooth
It’s organic.
Raw uses only certified USDA organic, and the highest quality raw organic produce and ingredients, straight from mother earth. They gently extract juice from fresh produce with a hydraulic press, minimizing oxidation (3-5x the nutrients of an average home juicer).
Raw offers several cleanses.
They offer several cleanses that fit your lifestyle and budget.
The Trail Head Cleanse eases you into a healthier diet and cleansing. The Base Camp is an all-liquid cleanse, that will help you re-set your metabolism. And the Summit Cleanse is an all-green cleanse, with nutrient-dense green juices, and almond milk with super greens.
To sum it up, this is exactly where I was at each time I’ve done a cleanse:
“These days it’s easy to find yourself feeling a little sluggish. Life’s busy, and you don’t always have time to eat healthy and exercise. Over time the toxins, processed foods, and stresses of life take their toll. Here at NW RAW, we offer a few regimens to help cleanse, detoxify, and nourish yourself back to health. Whether you’re looking to shed a few pounds or preparing for a 100 mile endurance race, our cleanses are designed to help start and sustain healthy living.”
Foods and juices.
But Raw is more than juice. Their parfaits and salads are amazing. Want chocolate for breakfast?!
Their chocolate parfait is an avocado-based, refined sugar-free & protein-packed option for satiating your chocolate cravings. Or it might be a yogurt-kind-of-morning, with coco and cashew yogurt, bananas, strawberries, homemade granola and love.
RAW also offers wraps and fabulous salads! Or, check out their entire menu!
My 2 favorite salads are the NORTH Salad, which combines mixed greens, pepitas, cauliflower, sundries tomatoes, sauerkraut & flax. It doesn’t get much healthier than this. And then the SOUTH SALAD (mixed greens, red pep, carrots, green onion, tomato, pepitas, avocado & hemp hearts – creamy cilantro dressing) – is our personal favorite.
Order on-line.
RAW’s most popular juices are the SUNRISE JUICE (carrot, satsuma & ginger), so delicious, the MOJO JUICE (carrot, beet, kale, apple, lemon & ginger), and the PEAR-A-GLIDE (cashew coco milk & pear juice). Then there are the Carabiner, Vertical, and Compass, to name a few.
If you live locally, you can also place your juice order on-line!
RAW serves 100% Organic Noble espresso & cashew coco milk, which is pure comfort. One of our favorite coffee drinks.
Oh, and how could I forget our favorite cheesy Kale Chips? You can’t stop at just one bite!
Whether you want a healthy meal, revitalizing drink, or you’re serious in a cleanse, I promise RAW’s juices will leave you feeling energized to go out and make a difference in this world.
Make eating fresh a way of living, and have some sort of discipline in taking care of your body. You will be excited as you reach your fitness goals!

My husband and I are making a trip at the beginning of April and I’m excited to visit this spot again. It’s incredibly yummy and the shop is simply stunning.
Okay, seriously I’ve been trying to plan a trip to Oregon FOREVER. This place looks absolutely incredible and right up my alley when it comes to organic, healthy food. Thank you so much for sharing. Also, avocado chocolate mousse/pudding = to die for.
I’m so glad to know about this juice bar. My husband and I will have to stop by the next time we travel to the area. The juices and wraps look absolutely delicious! I love that quote too, by the way. I’ll have to remember that!
Just another reason I love Oregon! The juice looks amazing – and those salads are calling to me!
I’m so craving a juice like these, now! What a wonderful bar!
Such a stunning article Sandy C! Thank you from the bottom of NWRaw’s juicy heart!
Wish we had one in Georgia!
oh, and the menu items look amazing….the salad and the wrap…YUM-O
YUM!! I want to go! I love finding these types of places. YOu are right..there is nothing like fresh juice. I love juicing and wish I could do it more often…which is why we do a green smoothie every day and juice when I’m able to get enough produce.
