Arugula Goat Cheese Burger Board
We love burger boards! It’s fun to change up a regular hamburger (maybe you tried my previous popular Epic Summer Hamburger Board, with different ingredients. Delicious served with this Fruit and Nut Slaw recipe!
Oh, and we love a really simple burger (made with quality meat), with salt and pepper! We remade this board a few weeks ago and shared it with friends–dinner for 4!

How to make the best burger
Keep it simple, Friends!
- Shape beef into six patties (about as wide as your burger buns). Using your thumb, make a dimple in the center of the patty to prevent extra shrinkage while cooking. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Heat grill to about 400 degrees. Spray patties with nonstick spray, then place on grill—cook for 3-5 minutes each side, depending on your desired doneness, 3 minutes for medium-rare.
Allow burgers to rest while you toast burger buns.
Of course we added toasted buns, tomatoes, arugula, and goat cheese for the burgers, and then the juiciest summer fruit!
The Hot Pepper Bacon Jam is made with spicy jalapeno peppers and smoky bacon—a great addition. It’s great on burgers, but also on charcuterie and cheese boards, or even homemade pizza!
Ready for the freshest burger this weekend? Happy Labor Day weekend!
