Chicken Tostada Dinner Board
There’s no right or wrong way to make a dinner board! And you can either buy storebought shells, or make your own (below).
Gather ingredients for a chicken tostada board:
- Tostada shells (you can buy pre-made, or you can make your own (below)
- Shredded chicken (we use rotisserie)
- Guacamole
- Corn salsa
- Bitchin’ Sauce (we buy at Costco)
- Salsa
- Red onion
- Black olives, sliced
- Mexican cheese (or Cotija)
- Limes
- Cherry tomatoes
- Black bean refried beans, heated
- Green + red peppers
- Cilantro
- Jalapeno peppers
How to make homemade tostada shells
- On a foil lined cookie sheet, lay down the corn tortillas. You can make in batches if making a large amount.
- Brush lightly with oil and sprinkle with salt.
- At 400 degrees, bake the corn tortillas for approximately 4 minutes per side, or until golden and slightly crispy on each side.
Delicious and easy if you have the time!
How to make a Tostada Dinner Board
A tostada dinner board is FUN to serve on a lazy susan board, where you can set it in the middle of the table.
- On a food safe board, lay down the tostada shells around the outside.
- In small bowls, fill with all the toppings. In a larger bowl, fill with the chicken (we use shredded rotisserie). Set the bowls on the board. Heat up the refried beans and serve hot.
- Fill in open areas with lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, and cilantro.
Everyone makes their own tostada! Serve and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 12 to stada shells, you can buy pre-made
- 3 cups shredded chicken, we use rotisserie, served hot
- 3/4 cup guacamole
- 3/4 cup corn salsa
- 3/4 cup Bitchin’ Sauce, we buy at Costco
- 3/4 cup salsa
- 3/4 cup sliced red onion
- 3/4 cup sliced black olives, drained
- 2 cups Mexican cheese, or Cotija, crumbled
- 3 limes, quartered
- 10 oz cherry tomatoes
- 1 can black bean refried beans, heated
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 cup cilantro, garnish
- 2 whole jalapeno peppers, garnish
Instructions
- On a food safe board, lay down the tostada shells around the outside.
