Christmas Nutella Dip Board

This would be a fun board to serve with homemade hot chocolate. Maybe last year you enjoyed my Nutella Fondue Dip Dessert Board. This board was made on the 20-inch board with a lip [check out all of The Big Board ideas].

Ingredients for this cozy dessert board:

  • CHRISTMAS TREE SHAPED WAFFLES – grab the link to buy!
  • Pretzel crisps (peppermint)
  • French macrons
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Trader Joe’s Chocolate Brooklyn Babka
  • Powdered sugar donut holes
  • Trader Joes’ Triple Ginger Snaps
  • Small bowl red and green M&Ms
  • Nutella, or hazelnut spread, like Costco’s brand
  • Heavy whipping cream
  • Sprinkle of candy cane

Making a board for a “caroling party”

Years ago, we’d gather our kids and neighbors for hot chocolate and a night full of caroling in our neighborhood. So many fun memories, the little kids would be pulled in the red wagon. Our elderly neighbors loved all the singing!

How to make Nutella Fondue Dip

  1. Spoon the Nutella or hazelnut spread into a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Heat the heavy whipping cream in a separate cup or bowl, and slowly whisk the cream into the bowl of Nutella, until very smooth.
  3. Allow to sit for an hour (it will thicken up).
  4. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Ingredients
 

  • 8.4 oz box tree-shaped waffles
  • 8 oz pretzel crisps, peppermint
  • 1 dozen French macarons
  • 20 oz strawberries
  • 1/2 package Trader Joe’s Chocolate Brooklyn Babkas
  • 12 oz powdered donut holes
  • 20 Trader Joes’ Triple Ginger Snaps
  • Small bowl red and green M&Ms
  • 1 cup Nutella, or hazelnut spread, like Costco’s brand
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Sprinkle of candy cane

Instructions
 

  • Spoon the Nutella or hazelnut spread into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat the heavy whipping cream in a separate cup or bowl at high power for 45 seconds, or until very hot. Slowly whisk the cream into the bowl of Nutella, until very smooth. Allow to sit for an hour (it will thicken up).
  • Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
