Cranberry Orange Relish Brie Cheese Appetizer
Friends, we had a cozy night with our family over the weekend, enjoying our fire and this Cranberry Orange Relish Brie Cheese Appetizer. This post is sponsored by Pine Mountain.
One of my favorite appetizers to bring to a party is a stuffed-brie. It’s so delicious, every bite is devoured! And brie mixed with orange and cranberries? The BEST flavors!
And friends, have you bought my new cookbook? Buy Big Boards for Families today! It’s “editor’s pick” on Amazon this month!
Cranberry Orange Relish Brie Cheese Appetizer
But I don’t just save it for a party. Our family enjoys it, too, especially this time of year with Orange Cranberry Relish (or sauce), and these Brie-Stuffed Turkey Cranberry Burgers!
Bring it to a party–it will be gone in no time! Best potluck dish appetizer!
To get a quick fire going, after returning from a cold long walk with the family, we started our fire with Pine Mountain ExtremeStart Firestarter.
Delicious ingredients for Cranberry Orange Relish Brie Cheese Appetizer

- Favorite crackers, we love Lesley Stowe Raincoast Crisps Cranberry and Hazelnut Crackers
Pine Mountain Fire Starter
The reason we love Pine Mountain brand is because it’s the leading brand in long-lasting and high-quality firestarters and logs. It’s also super small so it doesn’t take up much space.
And, always reliable! It will even start a fire when your wood isn’t always dry!
We also use this product in the summer, because you can start a grill or campfire in seconds, and it lasts up to 20 minutes. So the tiny firestarter is the perfect addition to our “camping check list,” and also great for tailgating, to bring on a hike, and hunting! Also great for fire pits, charcoal grills, chimineas, wood barbeque grills and smokers.
In addition to the ExtremeStart, Pine Mountain also offers a variety of logs perfect for a warm, cozy night by the fire. :)
We just learned of the Java-Log Firelog, which is actually the only fire log made from recycled coffee grounds, emitting the alluring aroma of freshly brewed coffee straight from the box! Can you imagine?
This is next on our list to try in our cozy mountain home.
Cranberry Orange Brie Cheese
For our quiet evening with the family, there were only a few bites left of this Cranberry Orange Relish Brie Cheese Appetizer (so good!)
How to make hot brie
Make a lid, by cutting the top off the round of brie.
Fill with your favorite cranberry sauce. We love Trader Joe’s Cranberry Orange Relish.
Bake and serve hot with sliced apples, pears, salty pita chips, or baguette rounds.
Garnish with fresh orange zest and serve!
I hope you’ll enjoy this for a holiday party appetizer! Always a hit at every party!

Cranberry Orange Relish Brie Cheese Appetizer
Ingredients
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 8 oz. brie cheese
- 3/4 cup Cranberry Orange Relish
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- Orange zest
- Favorite crackers, we love Lesley Stowe Raincoast Crisps Cranberry and Hazelnut Crackers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place brie round on an ovenproof serving dish. I like to lay parchment paper down on a baking sheet.
- Slice the top of the brie round off, cutting inward to make a bowl. Remove the “lid.”
- Fill the bowl with relish. Place the lid on top, pushing down. (It’s okay if a little bit falls to the side).
- Sprinkle around the outside of the brie round with fresh cranberries and pecans.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese inside the rind is melted.
- Serve hot with your favorite crackers.

That brie sounds fantastic! Perfect flavors for the season!!
I am loving your little fireside party, so sweet! And…this recipe is so very wonderful for the holidays!
We have a gas fire place, but we love doing fire pits outside in the backyard to hang out with friends and family. Drinks and snacks by the fire has to be one of our favorite easy entertaining ideas!
Now that it is 32ยบ here I am wishing I had a wood stove…and this brie!
