GIVEAWAY DAY with S.D.G. Artistry, The Hip Hostess, and Where Women Cook
Today’s a fantastic day at RE because we’re giving away some beautiful gifts.
If you are seeking a wonderful gift for the treasured women in your life this holiday season, then look no further. One of the simplest pleasures of celebrating the holidays is giving to others.
The holidays can be occasions to connect deeply with God and one another, and to express creativity and appreciation, and to eat, laugh, enjoy – and to give.
I highly recommend any of these delightful gift ideas if you’ve not completed your shopping yet!
Where Women Cook: Celebrate!: Extraordinary Women & Their Signature Recipes
The newly released Where Women Cook: Celebrate! is a unique book showcasing 28 inspiring women. The book takes a peek into their kitchens, hearts and homes! Filled with stunning illustrations, heart-warming quotes, and mouth-watering recipes – this is a gift to be used for years to come to refer to for meal ideas and inspiration!
The stories alone make it a book I will keep in the basket where warm and cozy books sit, just waiting to be read. The recipes which go along with the stories are also fantastic. And did I tell you that RE has a featured dinner party included in the book, too? Very exciting … I’ll share a few of the pages with you.

I give both! Usually give the kids something traditional but I love making gifts for family and friends!
I give a little of each! For Christmas we general give our girls several practical things (such as socks, underwear, sleepwear, clothing items), since we don’t purchase often for them…just at the start of new seasons and only if necessary. I love inspirational gifts as well, things that they and others will hold dear for a long time to come rather than be discarded before the next holiday season. I think the best way to go is to purchase something that is either to be consumed or cherished for many years to come!
I love The Hip Hostess!!! I always give practical gifts….it’s more meaningful!!
And I tweeted the tweet you listed ( after tweeting with the tweet link below). Now that’s a tongue twister!
I don’t have a blog yet…I have yet to come up with a name cause everytime I do it’s already taken….very frustrating…so I “shared” about you on my facebook page ;0)

I just liked Where Women Cook on Facebook. I like that they are associated with where women create! I had just taken part in the 12 Days Of Fabulous Holiday Giveaways! That was so much fun getting to “meet” so many talented and crafty women! ( and that is how I ended up here in a roundabout way-through thier last post).
Hi! I went over and Liked the Hip Hostess’ FaceBook Page and then hopped on over to her blog. They range from really classy to simply darling. I just love her aprons!

I probably give more practical gifts, but I love giving inspirational ones, too.
And of course I like Where Women Cook on FB!
I’m with those who like The Reluctant Entertainer on FB.
As our family continues to grow, we tend to give gifts from the short lists we each make. Usually that means something practical, except for those of us still on Santa’s route.
I tend to give more practical gifts for the holidays.
Lately I’ve been leaning towards practical gifts. I like the idea of the recipient actually using the gift versus it just sitting on a shelf or away in a drawer.
