GIVEAWAY DAY with S.D.G. Artistry, The Hip Hostess, and Where Women Cook
Today’s a fantastic day at RE because we’re giving away some beautiful gifts.
If you are seeking a wonderful gift for the treasured women in your life this holiday season, then look no further. One of the simplest pleasures of celebrating the holidays is giving to others.
The holidays can be occasions to connect deeply with God and one another, and to express creativity and appreciation, and to eat, laugh, enjoy – and to give.
I highly recommend any of these delightful gift ideas if you’ve not completed your shopping yet!
Where Women Cook: Celebrate!: Extraordinary Women & Their Signature Recipes
The newly released Where Women Cook: Celebrate! is a unique book showcasing 28 inspiring women. The book takes a peek into their kitchens, hearts and homes! Filled with stunning illustrations, heart-warming quotes, and mouth-watering recipes – this is a gift to be used for years to come to refer to for meal ideas and inspiration!
The stories alone make it a book I will keep in the basket where warm and cozy books sit, just waiting to be read. The recipes which go along with the stories are also fantastic. And did I tell you that RE has a featured dinner party included in the book, too? Very exciting … I’ll share a few of the pages with you.

I do both depending on the person. But I tend to lean more towards inspirational gifts – especially with my two teenage sons :-)
I tend to give more inspirational gifts for Christmas. I love to be creative on the gifts I give.
I think my gifts tend to be a mixture of both.
We acutally give lots of handmade gifts. People really seem to love them!
Thanks for including me in your giveaway Sandy! This is always so fun for me!
I like to give thoughtful romantic gifts, however I saw that I was totally missing the boat with my husband with every gift. I could tell he just wasn’t ‘feeling’ it. Lol So now It’s all about practical or what he asks for. I save the thoughtful gifts for my like-minded girlfriend gift exchanges!!
I put a lot of thought into the gifts I buy. We ask our kids for lists and on those are always some practical items, which makes shopping easy for me. Then…I think of the stage of life they are at…it used to be newlywed, now it is young parents. A book, DVD series or a much needed weekend away becomes a gift for the heart. For friends I have been baking or making something they can use up, or giving a journal or book. Then again….sometimes it’s just fun to buy something really pretty and package it beautifully. Kathy
THIS. IS. AWESOME.

I usually like to give gifts that i think the person will like, its no always practical…last year i have some makeup brushes and a book on how to do makeup as i knew the person was looking into getting into doing makeup for weddings etc.

We normally just exchange gifts with family so I shop from a list. However, if I give a gift to a friend I try to give them something that will inspire them, or something they want or need and just won’t buy for themselves.
Thank you!
