For this recipe, I cooked 3 large sweet and red onions. The longer you cook the onions (on low heat), the sweeter and more caramelized they become.

Preheat one package of Cooked Perfect Homestyle Meatballs (love the smaller ½ oz. bite-size meatballs), and then add to the caramelized onions. Just one package has 64 meatballs. That serves a lot of bites!

Add in the cheese; stir, bake, and serve hot with your favorite chip or cracker or pretzel stick!

Whether serving a snack, or a meal, being prepared is key for me; the key to easy entertaining. So I keep a few bags in the freezer, ready to defrost and serve (or make a quick recipe). These bite-size (1/2 oz.) meatballs are also delish for a family pasta night. (Mmm, spaghetti and meatballs!)

In fact, I’ve also made another fabulous appetizer, Easy Meatball Crostini recipe. Use a bag of Cooked Perfect’s meatballs for a shortcut! Or, try these Avocado Cheeseburger Meatball Appetizer recipe.

  2. This looks so good! Yes, we are hosting. I’ve asked everyone to bring some type of finger food and I’m going to make a crockpot of chili and some mini corn muffins. We’ll have a few games for prizes. Should be fun.
