But let’s get started on this easy dessert board!
Easy Christmas Dessert Board ingredients:
- Little Rae’s Bakery Peppermint Cookies
- Trader Joe’s Peppermint Bark
- Eggnog chocolate almonds
- Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Covered Marshmallows
- Candy canes
- Trader Joe’s Toffee Chocolate Crackers
- Mini meringues
- Chocolate covered cherries (we love Harry & David)
- Bay leaves (garnish)
Use the 12 x 24-inch board
A last minute dessert board is simple to put together. What do you have in the house, or in the freezer? Take stock first, and then maybe pick up a couple things to complement the board.
You have some goodies that came in the mail in a gift basket? (Again, we love Harry & David gift baskets.)
For this board, we used the new 12 x 24” BIG BOARD. I’m finding this is a fantastic size for desserts!
How to make a dessert board
- On a 12 x 24-inch board with a raised edge, place down the cookies on either end.
- Next, fan out the candy canes from left to right, down the board.
- Fill in open areas with the next 5 ingredients. Place the bay leaves on the board in 4 places for a pretty garnish!
- Serve with your favorite dessert drink!

Ingredients
- 8 Little Rae’s Bakery Peppermint Cookies
- 10-12 candy canes
- 8 oz Trader Joe’s Peppermint Bark
- 6 oz eggnog chocolate almonds
- 7 oz Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Covered Marshmallows
- 8 oz Trader Joe’s Toffee Chocolate Crackers
- 12 mini meringues
- 10 chocolate covered cherries
- Bay leaves, garnish
Instructions
- On a 12 x 24-inch board with a raised edge, place down the cookies on either end.
- Next, fan out the candy canes from left to right, down the board.
- Fill in open areas with the next 5 ingredients. Place the bay leaves on the board in 4 places for a pretty garnish!
- Serve with your favorite dessert drink!
