Easy 12 One-Pot Dinners for Reluctant Entertainers!
One-Pot Dinners are perfect for easy and stress free entertaining! And who doesn’t like having only one pot to clean at the end of the end of the evening?!
People ask me all the time how I entertain so much, considering I’m a reluctant entertainer. Well, let me tell you a little secret about myself. I’m not a reluctant entertainer. It was 8 years ago this month that I began writing here at RE, to people who are reluctant entertainers.Around that same time, my husband and I were in Denver, and I remember so vividly how we came up with the name reluctant entertainer … in the elevator. We had been tossing around the idea of me starting a blog about hospitality. I kept coming back to … why are people so reluctant to entertain? By the way, my husband was a reluctant entertainer early on in our marriage, so the term was not new to us!It really bugged me that people were so fearful {and sometimes selfish} of being hospitable, since I grew up in a hospitable home. Of course I thought of all the reasons and excuses that stop people, and then we came up with this great and true name, and now eight years later …
Most of my readers know that my blog is for everyone, not just reluctant entertainers, because it has tips and inspiration for those who struggle with wanting to have people over, but also on hospitality in general.
I hope to continue to inspire and bring easy recipes for all!
