Perfect for a holiday “bite,” serve this Baked Pumpkin Spice Butternut Squash Charcuterie Board for your next gathering, with healthy treats!
Friends, today is the day to invite a few people over for a bite for dinner. I say a bite, like serving this Baked Pumpkin Spice Butternut Squash Charcuterie Board.
It’s not an epic charcuterie board, but a smaller version. Hosting a larger event (like for Halloween?) then for sure check out my Fall Epic Charcuterie Board!
Baked Pumpkin Butternut Squash
And the baked pumpkin butternut squash? Keep reading for my secret ingredient (so easy, you won’t believe it).
Baked pumpkin butternut squash is, I feel, the STAR ingredient.
The curse of cell phones
But first, our friends came for a light bite for dinner and a glass of wine, and we served this Pumpkin Spice Butternut Squash Charcuterie Board.
Everyone automatically put their cell phones up. Wow, I was so impressed.
This is what I’ve noticed about cell phones. Everyone starts off pretty good.
Then one person sneaks out their phone …
Then others follow, and a few more pull out their phones.
And texting at the table? THIS IS A NO-NO.
A big NO-NO! It can wait, and if it can’t, excuse yourself.
Cell phones have become a huge inconvenience and can be very rude.
How to bake butternut squash
But now on to this beautiful platter of fall food!
On a baking sheet, line the pan with 1 sheet of parchment paper.
Place the chunks of butternut squash on the parchment paper. Drizzle with oil.
Salt and pepper, and add Pumpkin Pie Spice.
Mix together with your hands and bake!

If i’ve started an instagram story on an “entertaining moment,” then I may add a few pics later of the meal or the table. A quick pic of the table or food, but never texting or checking FB or Instagram.
