Roasted Goat Cheese Figs
Roasted Goat Cheese Figs are a delicious, cozy appetizer, served with a drizzle of honey. Pop these figs in the oven, and serve with your favorite wine.
Friends, we’ve had a great time exploring this beautiful area where we live, which is spectacular in the fall! We’ve had a few cozy meals with friends, and recently made these Oven Roasted Goat Cheese Figs drizzled with honey for our guests.
We don’t do entertaining perfectly, and many times I don’t have the time to make recipes that are super involved or take a lot of baking time. Sometimes we choose convenience over hours in the kitchen, and that is just fine.
Roasted Goat Cheese Figs
This time I had extra time to make a cozy, warm appetizer, these Roasted Goat Cheese Figs.
Sit these on the table for the holidays, or serve for a small appetizer gathering, and your guests will love you.
Remember it’s about how we see God’s abundance in bringing people together that counts. It’s not our perfect homes, or picture-perfect people to the party.
I fell in love with our home. I didn’t notice the creaky wood floors, but I saw the perfect space for our family table. A place we could share with ohers.
My intentions for hosting are not to show off. My intentions are to invite, slow down, sit down, and enjoy the people around me.
How to make oven roasted figs
This lovely Oven Roasted Thyme Honey-Figs with Goat Cheese appetizer is a great way to start off an entertaining moment, because each bite is like heaven. I’m a big fig lover though, so anything figgy is alright by me:)
Cut figs into wedges, or cut an X into the top of each, making sure to not cut all the way through.
Lay figs on baking sheet, and pour melted butter on top. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar on figs. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Crumble goat cheese, sprinkle pistachios and thyme, and drizzle honey on top. Serve warm or even cooled.
