Holiday Shrimp Cocktail Crudités
Here’s an old-fashioned appetizer: A Holiday Shrimp Cocktail Crudités Board with fresh veggies, shrimp, cream cheese, and cocktail sauce.
The people in our lives are what make the holidays so tender and sweet! Right? And I love a good old-fashioned recipe that reminds me of my childhood.
Holiday Shrimp Cocktail Crudités
Like crudités .. my mama and her sisters made were always a favorite.
Perfect for the holidays and a cozy time with family this week!
I also think of cream cheese, shrimp, and cocktail sauce for an old-fashioned appetizer, which inspired me to make these Holiday Shrimp Cocktail Crudités.
Shrimp Cocktail Appetizer

Ingredients shrimp cocktail crudités:
- Cream cheese=
- Sweet red peppers
- Shrimp meat
- Cocktail sauce
- Crackers (assortment from Trader Joe’s)
- Carrot and celery sticks
- Red pepper
- Green pepper
- Fresh rosemary sprigs
- Black olives
- Red pepper (cut top off to make a small bowl)
- Green pepper (cut top off to make a small bowl)=
- Ranch dip
As I always say, size it to the number you are feeding.
How to make bell pepper bowls
You’re short on small bowls for the Ranch dressing? No problem!
Here’s how to make the bell pepper bowls:
- Buy the peppers in the store that have a flat bottom.
- Slice the green and red pepper in half and scoop out seeds.
- Fill both with Ranch dressing and serve.

Holiday Shrimp Cocktail Crudités
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 9 oz sweet red peppers, we buy Delallo brand
- 1/2 pound shrimp meat, rinsed and drained
- 8 oz cocktail sauce
- 6 oz crackers, assortment from Trader Joe’s
- 14 oz carrot and celery sticks
- 1/2 red pepper, sliced
- 1/2 green pepper, sliced
- 1 1/2 oz fresh rosemary sprigs
- 6 oz black olives
- 1 red pepper, cut top off to make a small bowl
- 1 green pepper, cut top off to make a small bowl
- 1/2 cup ranch dip
Instructions
- On a medium plate, lay down a block of cream cheese. Pour the cocktail sauce over the cream cheese. Pour the rinsed and drained shrimp meat on top. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary. Place in the middle of a board.
- Around the plate, fan out the crackers. Around the crackers, lay down the rosemary (so it looks like a wreath).
- On one side lay down mixed sliced veggies, and arrange the same ones across from it.
- Slice the green and red pepper in half and scoop out seeds. Fill both with Ranch dressing and place on opposite sides on the board.
- Fill in open areas with black olives and red peppers and serve! The perfect Shrimp Cocktail Crudités!
