Sweet Potato Soup Grilled Cheese Board
Bring your people together for a delicious Sweet Potato Soup Grilled Cheese Board, made with flatbread grilled cheese sandwiches!
Friends, boards are the best way to bring people together and feed a crowd with style! Right? Especially now, during the holidays, it’s a very fun way to host.
Sweet Potato Soup Grilled Cheese Board
Today we’re sharing a delicious, simple board, made with Roasted Sweet Potato Soup, and Flatbread Grilled Cheese. Tomato soup and grilled cheese was one of my favorite dinners when I was a kid, so this comfort board brings back delicious memories!
What ingredients are on the Sweet Potato Soup Grilled Cheese Board?
Thai Coconut Sweet Potato Soup Recipe (or serve your favorite recipe)
5 Flatbread Grilled Cheeses
Blueberries
Kkiwi berries
Lime
Cilantro leaves
Chopped chiles
Parmesan crumbles
Served on the 20-in BIG BOARD
I love how the 20-inch and 26-inch round boards are still the best sellers, the first boards that we launched one year ago. What a blessing to be working with JK Adams, in Vermont, being supportive of this beautiful work being done in the USA! We are proud of this.
Grilled cheese flatbread sandwiches with soup
This Thai-inspired spin on the iconic tomato soup and grilled cheese duo transitions wonderfully from the fall season into winter.
Add lime, cilantro, blueberries, and kiwi berries and cozy caramelized notes from roasted sweet potatoes and carrots. We love the little bit of spicy heat from the chiles, and rich umami from the fish sauce, soy, and Parmesan.
What do I put on a grilled cheese board?
Oh, and if you can’t find kiwi berries, or blueberries, you can substitute those with any other fruit, like oranges, apples, Asian pears, blackberries. This is what I love about making boards.
- Use what you have
- Use what’s in season
- What are your favorite pairings?
- Are you catering to any special diet?
- Swap out the soup for your favorite recipe
- Make grilled cheese sandwiches instead of the flatbread recipe
Again, make the boards your own! The recipes we share here (and in my book) are hopefully inspirational and helpful.
You can also add veggies like steamed broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant, or even roasted Brussels sprouts.
