4th of July parties call for nature-inspired, red, white, and blue arrangements — or even just red! This is where lovely geraniums come in, or even petunias, for an easy DIY 4th of July centerpiece this year.

Red is stunning and beautiful.

You can always accessorize red flowers with blue or white napkins and you’re set.

How about an alfresco sit-down dinner this year using what’s already in your yard?

I’ll be bringing this one simple pot to the center of the table.

At a recent dinner I attended, they used the galvanized garden containers and planted geraniums along with other greenery, right in the pot.

If you place votive candles along with the larger candles on your fresh white-starched tablecloth, they’ll cast a warm glow over the arrangement, especially if you’re entertaining at dusk.

Have you thought ahead to using fresh “red” or blue? flowers from your yard for the 4th of July this year?
