Holiday Punch Non Alcoholic
It’s the perfect Christmas morning punch, but wait … it’s also delicious for Christmas Eve! It’s festive, fresh, and everyone loves a good holiday punch recipe (especially the little kids, in fancy cups).
Why we love Apple Pineapple Orange Sparkling Punch
The garnishes of apples, cinnamon sticks, oranges and apples make the dishes not only flavorful, but so pretty. And I specifically love the memories of drinking punch at Christmas, when I was a kid.
Oh, and the extra pizzazz of pomegranate seeds!
You can make this recipe virgin, or you can add vodka or rum. It’s up to you! If you do choose to use alcohol, don’t forget our beautiful Christmas Sangria!
You can use any flavor citrus sparkling water for this punch.
Why serve a Christmas punch?
Every party needs a good punch, and you can serve this Apple Pineapple Orange Sparkling Punch Recipe as a virgin punch, or add a little rum! Punch just goes so well with brunch, or a ham dinner with all the fixings.
- The first thing you need to do is grab a large punch bowl. Guess what I used? A large salad bowl. Use anything big and deep that can hold a lot of liquid.
- Make sure you have a ladle to serve the punch.
- Mix and the ingredients together ahead of time; cooke and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
- When ready to serve, garnish the punch bowl with fruit, cinnamon sticks and pomegranate seeds, and pour in the punch!
Ingredients for Holiday Punch Non-Alcoholic:
- Apple juice
- Pineapple juice
- Orange juice or orange mango
- Liter sparkling grapefruit water: or any citrus sparkling water
- Crushed cardamom seeds
- Whole cloves
Garnishes:
- Cinnamon sticks
- Orange
- Apple
- Pomegranate seeds
How do you make a holiday punch?
- In large saucepan, combine all ingredients, except for the sparkling water. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat, allowing punch to simmer. Strain and discard cloves and cardamom.
- Allow to chill for several hours or overnight.
- Pour into punch bowl, add in sparkling water for carbonation, and garnish with desired toppings (orange, apple, pomegranate seeds).
- Optional to serve with ice.
Hosting a holiday party
Every year, my family and I carve out some time to celebrate the holidays with different groups of friends. Last year we hosted several parties, one with these easy Marinated Cornish Game Hens.
This year we are making my Crusted Pepper Prime Rib for a more intimate dinner party along with these Peperoncini Lox Poppers Appetizer!
Have you thought about hosting an appetizer night? Where everyone brings their favorite “cheese board,” or charcuterie?
Along with the delicious platters of goodness, serve this Christmas Punch! There’s plenty to go around.
We love to celebrate the season with new friends and old. It’s also great to establish new traditions and take turns hosting so the pressure isn’t always on one particular family.
The goal? Laid back and easy for everyone!
ENJOY!
