Enjoy this springtime dessert, Angel Cake Strawberry Shortcake, with a chocolate ganache. The angel cake is fried, and the flavor is out of this world.
Angel Cake Strawberry Shortcake is a fun twist to the traditional Strawberry Shortcake. You fry the base (angel food cake bar), and it’s topped with sweetened strawberries and a chocolate ganache.
Angel Cake Strawberry Shortcake
The dessert is a rich, chocolaty fruity dessert, which pairs well for Spring and Summer.
Buy store-bought angel food cake. You can buy fudge sauce (I use Trader Joe’s), or you can make your own ganache. The day before, slice the strawberries. EASY!
