Healthy Snack: Bush’s Roasted Garbonzo Beans!
Enjoy these salted Roasted Garbonzo Beans, the perfect healthy snack!
I’m always cooking with beans, so today I’m sharing with you my new favorite snack.
But first off I want to tell you about Bush’s Beans and the fact that our family really appreciates their product and family commitment. As a company, their philosophy is in line with our family values, so we stock our pantry with beans as often as possible. We eat a lot of beans!
So, more about Garbonzo Beans …
Garbanzo Beans are low in fat and an awesome source of fiber and protein.
Normally I would use them whipped up into a yummy hummus, but we also love this tasty, healthy snack.

I truly wish I could “do” beans like the rest of the world, but the texture just turns me off. Quick and easy snacks for us are fresh fruits and celery with pb and raisins (ants on a log)!
This sounds so good! I love that you used a spice mixture from The Spice House. One of their stores is a couple of blocks from the house. Thanks!
Oooh – great idea! We are a nut-free house for our littlest, so this might be a good substitute to try.
These look fabulous! I am going to try that this weekend. Do you store on shelf or in refrigerator?
I have cans of these beans in my cupboard. Definitely making this! Sounds yummy. Thanks for the recipe.
I love my Texas Caviar that is amazing and yummy. I found a similar recipe, but it was for more of a sweet snack…maybe I’ll try it next week or this weekend and do a post on it. this sounds yummy!!
Mmmm. Thanks for sharing. We love garbanzo beans and eat them lots of different ways–but never roasted!
What temp should the oven be?
We do this too – love them roasted and it’s so much better for you than chips. But you DID mention hummus and now i have a hummus craving….something good to have in the fridge for the weekend crowd.
My mom would love this, and I am having her over this weekend…thanks!
I love apples and almond butter for a quick snack!
