Looking for a unique sweet berry bruschetta that is simple to make? We love this spin on berry bruschetta, but this time served as little dessert bites with our favorite Nutella spread.
Nutella Berry Bruschetta
We kept this recipe simple, because we know how busy summer and holiday weekends can be. Since today is the first day of summer, grab some fresh berries and this amazing recipe, and save it for the Fourth of July! Use red and white berries and you’ll have a fun patriotic snack for everyone!
Why we love this recipe
- It’s elegant and tasty for a dessert or an appeitzer.
- You can make ahead for a party.
- It is so delicious served in summer months with fresh berries.
This bruschetta dessert really does make a perfect snack or appetizer for any occasion. The swirling flavor of butter (on the crostini), mixed with chocolate and berries, is absolutely dreamy! Another recipe swirling with Nutella is this ice cream recipe!
This Nutella dessert is a tasty, creamy concoction enhanced with fresh berries, toasted shaved almonds, and a sprig of basil. It’s a fabulous addition to any entertaining table. Serve it with these burgers, this salad, a mashed potato bar, and enjoy – SUMMER!

Nutella Berry Bruschetta Recipe
I say any time of year is great for making a delicious appetizer or dessert like this, because you can pretty much get berries all year round now in grocery stores. And if you’re like our family, you buy bulk Nutella (LOL).
Everyone loves Nutella Berry Bruschetta!
We are big fans of Nutella, which is why I love this recipe so much. :)
Tips and substitutions:
- Mix up the berries or summer fruit. Besides berries, you can also use chopped apricots, kiwi, pineapple, cherries, or mango.
- Replace the Nutella for goat cheese or cream cheese.
- Use basil or mint sprigs.
- Sprinkle with Sea salt (optional), or use different flavored salts.
You can also make it ahead and bring to a party!
Make a dinner invitation
I definitely have spring fever, so I’m all about connection right now. Besides, hosting a little party makes me spruce up my home a little, look for the dust bunnies and the plants that are dead (goodbye dead plants), and maybe add some fresh flowers.
Make that invitation and start planning your menu!
Delegation is key!
This day and age, I want to encourage as much hospitality as we can put forth, because people need people. So don’t feel like you have to do it all.
I really love to cook, and I like to be in control over the menu. I don’t know about you, but I like to be specific about what guests should bring.
For instance, I don’t just say, bring a salad. That could mean pasta, fruit, or green salad. Be specific about the kind of salad you want your guests to bring.
If we’re short on time though, or if it’s a potluck, then set the theme and throw out ideas to people for what they can bring!
Or, people love to bring a dessert.
Delegation is key–just enjoy summer and people and good food!
Then you can throw a quick dessert together like this Nutella Berry Bruschetta Recipe!
Enoy!
