Olive-Green Tinted Dollar Tree Glasses
It’s one of my favorite colors, so you can only imagine how thrilled I was when the Dollar Tree started carrying olive-green tinted wine glasses.
I stocked up, told my friend Jenny about them, and she stocked up too.
Then when I went back to buy more, all the stores in my area were sold out.
But guess what? That is the beauty of your friends stocking up also, because you get to share!
I love green because it’s the color of spring, summer and fall … and Christmas! It’s so versatile, I couldn’t wait to buy more for larger gatherings.
And, did you know you can actually go online to the Dollar Tree to buy items in bulk numbers of 12 or more?
Perfect for entertaining.
I’ve often had readers ask about my glass plates that I use quite often. It was such a deal to buy them at a yard sale, but I did come across these that are also sold at the Dollar Tree.
Again, perfect for entertaining and holidays, showers, you name it …
I’ve been enjoying the “new green.” And was happy when my friend brought her basket of glasses over for a larger party I was hosting.
Replacing the “clear glass.”
For a fresh entertaining look.
Do you like clear glass or colored glass for entertaining?

Love your green glasses but love clear so I can get by with fewer sets to go with the many sets of dishes we have. My wife and I have found serving dishes to match the 7 part relish tray from her mother (Early American Prescut). They have been so cheap we can’t resist. They remind us of your goblets and look fancy enough with china but casual enough with corelle. my wife has a small cupboard of clear pressed glass pickle/olive dishes. She calls them her grandma dishes. Such fun. Like picking out a dish wardrobe. rick
I love tinted glass – I used to be a big fan of anything with a blue tint, but now I like something with a rose or gold hue. Those green ones are pretty fabulous too – the dollar stores have great treasures sometimes don’t they?!
That is one pretty tablescape, Sandy! I love that shade of green, my favorite color too. I will have to stick with my clear glasses as my dishes have a blue pattern to them and the cabinets are filled to bursting already. How fun to think that everyone wants “Sandy glasses”, you are famous girl!
Love these glasses! I found this color and a beautiful shade of cobalt blue also. Cannot go wrong for $1! They are bigger than most too! Thanks for sharing. I love your blog.
I love your website and just bought your book. If we do not use wine, but want to entertain, what other pretty glasses would you recommend? Also, are the white plates in many of your pictures Mikasa’s French Countyside? Thank you.
Hi, Connie. Yes, the white dishes are the French Countryside!
I also got the water goblets from Dollar Tree. Here is a link about them.
