Friends, do you ever feel it’s time to reflect, slow down, and learn to love life a little more? We recenlty had several sets of friends come to town, and we enjoyed a few hikes, walks, snow, rain, sleet, and beautiful sunshine.
A mix of so much beauty.
Our hike started in the snowy mountains, where we ventured down into the valley, into the rich, deep colors of fall.
Honestly, it’s so good to be in the outdoors, where you feel vibrant and energized.
What I love about nature is that it’s sturdy, steady, and and miraculous.
You catch your breath. You realize with so much gratitude, that life truly is a gift.
Every day is interesting, new, and full of gifts.
We’re so grateful for our friends who came to town, and the miles and miles of walks and hikes.
Besides the food, friendship, and conversation … nature is right up there as a way to connect with God and …
It is well with my soul.

Wow. Yum. Our youngest was just at “Killer Burger” the other night and ate their burger that had PB on it. She said it was actually good, kind of salty sweet, though theirs had a bit too much PB in the middle. Might have to try it sometime.
Lucky friends! ย This looks yummy!
